This place is a gem. The owners are so kind and welcoming. Their service is quick! I got the lunch bento this visit for 18 and I was impressed with the size and taste. Not sure why it doesn’t have more stars. I think more people should give it a shot. I’m only visiting for a few days but it’s going to be a favorite!

Happy Teriyaki Dupont is a nice restaurant with delicious food. I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken and it was mouth watering. They also serve Sushi, but I didn't try it this time. The service was superb with very friendly staff and the food was ready quickly. The menu includes a wide range of dishes and I will be coming back here to try out something new. Highly recommend this restaurant for anyone in Dupont, Steilacoom, or Joint Base Lewis McChord. Its conveniently located right off I-5 exit 119.

Poke bowl was delicious! Beautiful dish and the portion was great. Wished I took a picture but I dug in. Daughter loved the gyoza and sushi roll. They forgot her soup but there was no way she would be able to eat another bite.

Great little terriyaki place in DuPont with large servings. It is right next door to the Home 2 Suites. My family of 6 ordered two sushi rolls 30, egg drop soup 8, we split 2 terriyaki combo plates 15/each for 4 kids which was more than enough. I had regular terriyaki chicken 13 with egg rolls 8. Excellent service, highly recommend this place.

My wife and I are visiting from out of town. We shared a Bento box as we were not too hungry. The food was INCREDIBLE! The tempura fried veggies were a nice addition and we enjoyed them. The teriyaki chicken was grilled tasting and fresh. We shared the yum yum sushi and it also was on point. Nothing bad to say about this place. We left “happy” I would come here again as often as I could!

I was staying in the hotel just a 2-minute walk from the restaurant. I thought it was great having a Teriyaki spot this close to the hotel. The staff and people greeting you when you first walk in with very nice and friendly. I was able to browse a paper menu and one on the wall with pictures which is nice and helpful. I would stick with the traditional teriyakis as opposed to the other dishes. There is plenty of parking if you need but very convenient to the nearby hotels. The store is very clean and nicely decorated. I took my food to go each time but would have been more than happy to eat inside. A nice-size cooler with a selection of drinks. I would definitely recommend the chicken teriyaki to anybody in town.
